Challenges
On the GlobalLogic side, I was responsible for the Visual Design of Android-based application, structure, navigation, appearance, and interaction conventions. I created and implemented the visual style of the application based on UX documents, the company brand style guide and the Google UI guidelines.

Collaborated with a geographically dispersed team of UXdesigners, developers, product managers and QA engineers.

Composed use cases, UI specifications, and a UI style guide.
Prepared high-fidelity prototypes and a visual design mockups according to the client's corporate style.

I was more heavily focused on the latter of the design process: the hi-fidelity designs for Android and later the iOS platforms. Prepared UI guidelines and worked with developers to be sure of the consistency of the interface.
Results
The development process for Smart IT 1.0 was about 6 months. During that time, we designed the experiences for Web browsers, iPads, and Android tablets. Created less cluttered, more intuitive interface that improved product image and appealed and boosted user adoption.

BMC officially launched Smart IT 1.0 in the fall of 2014. Smart IT was a new user interface for BMC Remedy ITSM.
